The island of St. Croix is unique from the other U.S. Virgin Islands because it has retained the charm and pace of the Caribbean as you'd expect it to be. St. Croix is not over developed with large resorts. Its ports do not overflow with thousands of visiting cruise ship guests every day. A beach occupied by more than 5 people at once is rare. Here on St. Croix, we consider this a good thing. We have everything to offer except the crowds!
Sugar Hill by the Sea is located 1/2 mile south of the town of Frederiksted on the west side of St. Croix. Frederiksted is one of two towns on St. Croix, and it has a charm all its own. Sugar Hill's convenient location gives you immediate access to so many wonderful things to do - all within walking distance or a 5-10 minute drive. A short walk down the hill brings you to one of St. Croix's most beautiful beaches, with white sand, calm surf and water visibility that is crystal clear. You can start and end your day with a swim, and catch the sun as it melts into the sea at sunset. |
